Cracking little establishment, absolutely amazing value for money and the staff are particularly clued up with what is going into the food with some even been foraged locally. Exceptional little gem, well worth a visit.

A great community facility, the café serves healthy nurishing meals at very affordable prices. Four course lunch for£4.50. That includes coffee, soup, main meal and a cake to finish.

Went to a family birthday party there. It was cheap but no staff present at all and the lift didnt work , which made it hard for the older members and people with babies as the steps are very steep.Expected better from a council building. Also the hall is smaller than it used to be since it was renovated so wouldnt be suitable for weddings or bigger events.

I have been to several family parties here. Kids enjoy themselves because of space and it's very nice.

Lovely community space with great facilities. Cafe not currently open as such as the space is being used as a "warm hub" for Nelson residents - free tea, coffee and toast.

A really good restoration of an historic building. The ILP in Nelson built this in the late 19th century. Now it commemorates Selina Cooper a member of the ILP. Also contains archive material about the ILP up to date to the present ILP. Really worth a visit.
