Excellent value, old fashioned mill canteen-style place with good range of pleasant food and diverse customer base catered by nice staff.

Tucked away just 5 mins from the canal this cafe was great for a breakfast stop for us walkers. Immaculately clean with cheerful staff. Surprisingly wide choice of meals & snacks. Open 7.30-3.00 week days only. Two sausage baps & two teas £8.50..

Whilst dropping our son off at hospital, we had an hour or so to kill, so we had a walk and followed Google map’s for a cafe near us and it led us to The Northbridge House Cafe👍nice clean cafe and good selection reasonably priced food pleasant staff definitely recommend (don’t be put off by surroundings) there’s a lot of developments going on in the area.

What a hidden gem!
Called here for breakfast on recommendation. A little hidden away but well worth the effort to find this place. I had their breakfast and my wife had sausage on toast. All the food was cooked, presented, and served by friendly staff and all reasonably priced. Shame that it’s not open Saturday but if you have the chance mid week then give this place a try.
