Lance is running Aldershot's most interesting takeaway cafe: it's a Top Grade traditional "London Pie Shop" with exceptional grub on sale in a town that's famous as the home of the British Army.
I've never tasted such high quality pies. You don't normally think of a meat pie as having superb quality meat; after all, a pie is just a pie. But every bite of these pies gives you a mouthful of top quality meat. Mix that with a traditional mashed potato, liquor (a kind of fish sauce) or gravy, and mushy peas, and you've got a real feast.
Lance could easily have gotten away with cheaper ingredients, but he's clearly something of a perfectionist. Even the veg on his Sunday roasts is exceptional. (My cat stole a roast potato off my roast dinner, and sat eating it with a Cheshire Cat grin on her face.) Lance's roast potatoes are crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Delicious.
Deliveroo or Just Eat deliveries are the weak point in the system. Ordering just for myself (and the cat) is a bit expensive. You can only eat so many pies and mashes in one sitting, so try phoning his cafe direct for superb quality in a very affordable package.
Lance is still developing his business and has recently taken on his own delivery driver; which means you'll get your dinner quicker and, most importantly, it'll still be piping hot.
I've every confidence Lance will continue to grow the Enterprise Cafe into a huge success. There's simply nothing quite like it outside of East-End London. Pick up the phone and call Lance for an astoundingly tasty pie (you won't get better) or a leisurely weekend lunch. Enjoy.
