Main lake is OK but gets busy. others are canals and usually have matches on so cant fish at weekends. Food is served and is reasonable.

1st time I've fished the match lake.canal.
Had approx 40lb plus.
Best I've done in years.

Beautiful place, peaceful and good fishing. Would recommend to any experienced and new anglers.

Sorry but we fished the old/New canal. We have fished it twice this year and can honestly say worst Lake ever fished. I'm not a brilliant Fisherman but like to think I can work a lake out.

I can't comment on the other lakes but if you have a match on the new/Old Canal, don't waste your time.

Great fishing, well stocked lakes in pleasant surroundings.

Ponds are well stocked and the fish are in great condition. Still running at £8 per day fishing and parking close to most of the pegs.

Fished there a few times. Normally it is OK. This time I found the net dips smelly and filthy. Suggest you change it regularly or not use it at all. Think the price is a bit steep for a rod or pole £8. There is NO pensioners discount which would be a good idea 😉.

Love it. Have fished it a lot. Very friendly staff and bailiffs. The cafe is excellent and the grounds and lakes are well maintained and stocked. Great place for a day's fishing whether you're on the pole fishing one of the canals or on feeder/waggler on the big lake. Highly recommend.
