Lancashire Tea

Just visited this cafe, ordered two coffees, which didn't turn up, girl who served us was to busy arguing with girl doing the cooking. Asked for a refund, the girl didn't no what our order was and then even short changed us. At this point I needed to make the manager aware of this experience. Another big mistake as she wasn't that interested giving us the excuse it was food festival day and there very busy, when the cafe wasn't even half full. Well below par service.

Microwaved frozen food, out of date, ridiculously expensive. Manager is incredibly rude to her staff saw her make one of the girls cry. Obviously hires young girls as they are much cheaper and it reflects in the service. So many better places in Accrington than this. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs.

Had lasagne which was slopped on the plate and topped with garlic bread that had been burnt one side. The chips had definitely been reheated because they were hard and really fatty. My husband had a burger which was also overcooked. Not a good experience

The service and food were fine and I had ordered a child's baked potato, I but when I came to leave the manageress came to me and said that someone had complained about me eating a child's portion. Absolutely ridiculous. No where does it say that an adult can't eat a child's portion. I definitely won't be going in again.

When here for breakfast this morning, The food was good but the lady who was in charge was verry rude towards the staff in training. I feel a bit more encouragement rather than bossing the saff about and telling them they are making a mess of everything everything would work much better.

Staff very helpful and friendly food very good

For the price I paid I was disappointed with the portions. Also, the girl cooking constantly played with her hair while cooking. The other girl who was clearing up was miserable and wasn't wearing any kitchen wear. I won't be going there again.

Have over the years when visiting accrington have used this cafe with several friends and have always recieved a warm welcome and a decent meal recently though no chance I found a seat which wasn't hard since only one other customer. due to covid restrictions I thought this was the thing to do and wait to be served totally Ignored sat for 10mins then walked out disgusting behaviour will never visit again
