Hmm.... not a bad place but nothing special. It was busy when we were there and the service wasn't too bad. Prices were reasonable enough but the food was just ok. The halloumi cheese was a little burnt but tasted ok, the egg mayonnaise was just some egg slices with some mayo spread on the bread, the baguette had a very hard, possibly stale bottom. Portion size was ok but the salad dressing had far too much horseradish in it. Coffee was quite nice and the cake slices were very generous, the carrot cake was nice but the Victoria sponge was far too heavy.

Fantastic place! We had the mini English breakfast today, and it was huge, extremely tasty and well presented. The staff are polite and friendly. Its a MUST visit!

Wasn't particularly overwhelmed.
We stopped here for a bite to eat and some drinks.
Initially service was very good with drinks being brought out swiftly.
However our 3 toasties took considerably longer. With one needing us to ask if it was being brought out or had been forgotten.
For near £7 the toasties were lacking. The price was steep.
Atmosphere was nice until a local lady came in and sat near the serving hatch. She had her two dogs with her and she couldn't keep them under control and the dogs were seen taking food off of plates that had been returned.
With this, the lady started calling the dogs a lot of expletives at considerable volume.
Finally she left but was clearly a friend of staff and they didn't seem to mind her language and how other customers may feel about this.

It's a shame really as does have potential, but currently it's not somewhere that I would be seeking to return to in a hurry.

We met some friends for a coffee and bite to eat. We were happy to see they had a vegan toastie on the menu but it wasn't amazing when it came. The cheese wasn't the greatest but it was nice that they at least had an option. Coffee and setting was nice enough.

Popped in two days in a row for lunch while visiting the area on business. Great homemade soup and sandwiches. Fantastic fruit scones and a great pot of tea. Clean toilet. All bases covered. What more do you want

Came here for lunch. I had a toasted brie and cranberry sandwich and a pot of Earl Grey tea. My partner had a toasted turkey and cranberry sandwich and a latte. We shared a piece of the vegan lemon cake which was delicious . Will definitely re visit. Toilets were spotless too

Really great place... dog friendly, lovely food, great service and lovely staff. Screaming child we could have done without but that won't put us off.
