I ate breakfast here. I had Breakfast Bap which is a Cumberland sausage with fried egg and two rashers of bacon. I wax bowled over. I wasn't expecting anything quite so tasty.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Parking is in the road, which is essentially the village end of a lane, so a bit narrow, but we were fine.

We visited for brunch today and were not disappointed! The poached eggs were nothing short of exceptional, and the bacon was outstanding. We had the full English and avocado, egg and bacon on toast dishes. The sourdough bread was also a joy. Staff were friendly, and the weather was nice, which gave us the chance to sit outside in the garden. Highly recommended, and we will be back!

My first visit yesterday. Had a full English breakfast (that is served until 14:30) and it was divine! A little too much for me, but their homemade baked beans are to die for and the Cumberland sausage wheel and chorizo sausage were delicious! Great, friendly service. I recommend and will definitely return.

Great coffee, great atmosphere (especially when the wood burner warms the room) and great food! Quick, friendly service. I’ve eaten and enjoyed a variety of beverages here a number of times (at different times of the day too) and never had a bad meal - I think their breakfast burrito is now one of my new favourites. Absolutely delicious! They also hosted a family event for us in September - really helpful, accommodating for wheelchair access and babies too and everyone had a great time. Our favourite bistro. We’re so blessed to live locally. Thank you Bar&Bean team!😊

Well worth the money - best bacon sarny for miles
I didn’t like the coffee - but I only drink cheap coffee - you can tell it was an upmarket flavour

First visit to this little cafe for breakfast. Limited parking outside but more available if you don’t mind a stroll. The menu was excellent with plenty of breakfast choices and a good range of hot and cold drinks. We ordered a bacon bap and chorizo and poached egg on toast along with 2 coffees. All arrived quickly and were hot and delicious. Staff were very attentive and efficient. The venue itself is small but we’ll laid out and also available for private functions. Best part is the entrance with a well laid out cake and pastry counter. Well worth a visit.

Coldest cafe I’ve ever been in. They have 2 lovely log fires with plenty of wood. However, it’s obviously just for show. No wonder the place was empty. It’s a shame as food is good but I like to eat in a warm, cosy environment. This is not that place. Won’t use again.
