The food was great and did not take long to arrive. Huge portions and very reasonably priced. A lovely view over the solent. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

I had a good value breakfast here (£7 for two fried eggs, two hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms, a piece of toast, a vegetarian sausage, and a cup of coffee). The downside was the vegetarian sausage was more like a spring roll, so perhaps vegetable sausage would be more accurate (although it was vegetarian). Service was quick and the staff were polite.

As The Penguin Cafe was full up we thought we would give athe Bluebird a try but ended up really disappointed.
I had the small breakfast which only consisted of a sadly cooked egg half a rasher of bacon one sausage and a very small portion of bake beans.
No hash brown or tomatoes.
Filter coffee was really good.
My partner had the cheese on toast unfortunately it was only a very very small amount of cheese which had no taste to it.
The tea was good.
Don’t think we will be going there again.
Next time we will wait for a table at The Penguin Cafe.

Amazing place to eat, great food, great prices. Cooked so quick and delivered to your table piping hot. Dogs are welcome which is a winner or me as I love to take my sweet little Ethel with us. Comes with tomato but I swapped for more mushrooms I had the mega breakfast and it was 10piunds and comes with a tea coffee or cold can

My wife was happy with her bacon, egg and chips but I was very disappointed with the cottage pie. My main complaint is that it was a miserly portion, ~35cl or about size of a mug of tea, and about 1 tblspn of peas. The minced beef was gristly making it unsuitable for small children or elderly OAPs so I couldn’t recommend it to anyone. The terrier that belonged to the couple on the next table might have enjoyed it but it was bad tempered and yapped at anyone who went near it, hence deserved nothing.

We have soft ice cream. Vanilla and Strawberry and sprinkle cone is THE BEST ONE 👌 You should try, their soft ice cream is delicious ❤
