Flinders Coffee

I stumbled upon this little gem of coffee shop in search for a good coffee shop amongst all the surrounding chains, costa and cafe Nero. What a delight! Great coffee, where they understand the difference between a flat white and a latte. I indulged a whole gluten free carrot cake which was so good, not to sweet, just right! The breakfast and lunch menu looks pretty enticing too with gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options available amongst the meaty ones. I will most certainly be back to try out more of the menu. Very impressed and would highly recommend Flinders Coffee.

Coffee good. Sandwiches acceptable. Had the smoked salmon and the pastrami. Pastrami was a little on the thin side (considering price). Vegan smoothie was not very palatable and mostly made from almond milk and barely any fruit. Waiting time was longer than anticipated but in hindsight, probably expected for a small local business. Nice decor but unfortunately, the decor is not edible. Style over substance.

Disappointing coffee shop. I've reviewed hundreds up and down the country, overpriced for not great product. Coffee was cool, not hot, staff are friendly enough but the clutter on the shelves etc makes it all appear a bit grubby. Sandwich was overpriced for what it was (£6.95 two slices of bread, a bit of pesto some and some mozzarella cheese). Not worth a return visit

This place is just fantastic. Fab ambience, friendly staff, with delicious food and coffee. As a treat, I highly recommend the French Toast with maple bacon, delicious! We’ll be back.

There are lots of coffee shops in Haywards Heath but this one stands out. Greatest coffee and delicious food. Service with a smile always makes a difference.

They never disappoint. Lovely cafe with great breakfast, coffee and friendly staff. Our regular weekend breakfast destination.

I've been a few times to Flinders mainly for breakfast which has been excellent. Staff are brilliant and nothing is to much trouble. Be prepared to wait though as everything is freshly prepared. Coffee is excellent too. Perhaps a few too many plants for my liking but overall I really like Flinders.

Went here for the first time today and was thoroughly disappointed. Whilst the coffees my wife and I had were decent, the place seemed understaffed and it took ages to get our drinks and food. It took so long in fact that the waitress who we’d ordered with came around to ask for our order… only to be reminded that we’d already ordered and were waiting still.

As for the food, my wife’s vegan breakfast was passable, but my sausage sandwich was a seriously poor excuse for food. 2 sausages cut up and put in two slices of bread - no garnishes, no sauces, no offering of either, and the bread wasn’t even buttered. And for £7… I wouldn’t go back.
