Farmhouse Deli

Reasonably well stocked deli.

One of my two 'go' to places for top quality local cheeses. The Double Gloucester made from unpasteurised milk is one of the best I've had. Cheerful and helpful staff.

I've not tried the café facilities so can't comment on them.

Not really pleased with my purchases from the Farmhouse Deli. The pork pie pastry was very dry and we felt it had been on display too long, as the inside was dry and tasteless. Also the two “Cornish” pasties I bought were certainly not like a Cornish pastry you buy in Cornwall. The tiny bit of meat was mince meat and again the pastry was hard and tasteless.

My husband and children went in recently and were very pleased with the service they received.

Despite being told at Farmhouse Deli Northgate that they would not accept a Gloucester Gift Card (Even though the gift card website lists them as a contributor to the scheme), the Southgate store was more than happy to honour it.

Really pleased with our purchases and really grateful to the lady who served them.

Possibly the best sausage roll I've ever eaten. Great coffee too 👍

Brunch, opted for a sausage and bacon roll, with tea beverage. Couldn't fault the food really, very tasty. But just found a little pricey for a quick bite.

Ordered from here on a number of occasions started of great and I really enjoyed the hot sandwiches, but suddenly has gone down hill massively.
The time before now I had one piece of meat in a £7.60 sandwich- And today my HOT sandwich was ice cold like the snow in my garden and not to mention nearly a 2 hour wait.

Have popped through here twice and both times walked out with something else that we didn't ask for. Today it was a pasty which was wrong, give them credit they did happily swap it and apologised. Then discovered it was the wrong one again and didn't taste nice, so was binned. Won't be visiting again sadly.

Had a full English, very tasty, love having breakfast in there 😋
