Morrisons Cafe

Service was slow, and the food was ok, but nothing special. Having said that, with the kids eat free offer combined with the 'eat out to help out' scheme, it's the cheapest meal for 4 people that we've ever had.

Lots of space between tables and good attention paid to social distancing.

Unfortunately the standard of the Cafe is going downhill with cleanliness and hygiene as well as COVID safety.
1) prices too much and low quality
2) preparation of food negative.
Food been cold or overcooked/undercooked
3)untidy around,tables unclean,no sugar suchets instead dirty sugar bowl
Coffee substandard and out of machine but overcharged at £ 1.95
No ketchup or other suchets instead a used bottle been handled by multiple customers

Please address this issues

Summary - Everything is dirty.

We arrived and noticed that the café generally looked dirty but thought it would be okay. We went to get our cutlery which was dirty (we had to request more), table was dirty with strand of hair stuck to it and to wrap it up, I started eating my lunch only to notice half way through that my plate was dirty and had some random little bits of dirty paper (?) stuck to it! Needless to say I left feeling nauseous. Won't be going back.

Bacon wasn’t cooked properly, neither was the mushrooms. I asked for hot chocolate and they gave me hot milk, the tea pot was brown inside and some of the waiters were rude. I had to change tables because of how dirty the tables were. There was no hot chocolate in the dispenser. Overall quite filthy and would NOT recommend…

The worst experience of breakfast ever,self-service was fine, picked Yorkshire tea, machine was broken when I asked which tea was Yorkshire was told no idea by server! Cups were stained and disgusting, when breakfast arrived it looked horrendous and was stone cold,asked for refund ,no apologies from management.

I was really looking forward to a nice experience but the food is overpriced, well under portioned but at least of a reliable quality.

Be prepared to watch the day go by before your meal is served and when it is, various items may be the wrong order. I ordered mushy peas and got garden peas, but credit where it is due they did rectify this when I went to the counter.

Very little chips, how cheap are potatoes!??

No customer service, little hospitality etc tables are dirty as they are rarely cleaned. Seriously disappointed for the price of a two or three course meal, you can easily obtain fast efficient service in any pub or restaurant. I've been to several morrisons cafes across the UK and this was by far the worst. Others arrived after me were served before me as well.

Would have been cheaper and quicker to buy the food from the store, go home, cook and eat it and return for coffee.

I would use the cafe for coffees and self service but after wasting my time and money, I wouldn't buy anything else.

They are almost always have thing out of stock. Only two workers. Not clean. But food is good

If this place were any slower it would be going backwards. We ordered a kids macaroni cheese. It’s not homemade here, so like a minute in the microwave? 2 tops? We’ve been waiting 20 minutes so far. Rediculous. Not even busy, so I’d dread the lunch rush! The staff are unapologetic for the poor service (they weren’t even at the till most the time to take orders.) I don’t have high expectations for a supermarket cafe, but this ones getting worse and worse.
