Very nicely presented inside clean and tidy basic offer of food and drinks but fair prices toilets showers def need a revamp though! River and surrounding area kept nice great for picnics and time out with children and dogs

Only had a drink, was OK,while I was there a disabled lady with walking problems asked the young lady at the counter if someone could help carry her coffee to her table. The staff flatly refused, she said no there is not enough staff. I took the lady's coffees for her ,outside down the stairs to the table. The lady did not complain but disgusting that she was refused help. While I was there staff took food to tables many times so there was enough staff when it suited

Used to be a great cafe that was sensibly priced, served good food and had beautiful views where you could park your car in front of the lake and relax with family (for free!). Since being under new ownership, it has incredibly gone down hill and the company are money hungry. Real shame.

Shocking customer service. They got the order wrong and then refused to address the issue and we’re rude. If I could give no stars I would

Love this place. Great food, owners are very friendly and dog friendly. Nice destination walk from Harlow Town train Station along the River Stort to the cafe for a very warm welcome for humans and fur babies. Highly recommend. Somewhere for kids to play also.

The lake here is lovely, area is beautiful. But not impressed with the café, the food took AGES to arrive, when it did the burgers were cheap meat and SUPER oily. By the time our chips came we'd already 'finished' our slimy burgers. The staff look like they're constantly on break and chatting to each other, but not at all friendly or welcoming to guests. None of them seemed to know what they were doing. The toilets need renovating, they were so dark, no lighting and not clean.
However, Aqua Splash was good fun, they should recommend wearing wet suits as some of the kids were freezing. I also liked that the cafe sold sun cream. But I'm not sure I'd return...

Clean and tidy in a lovely spot. Road to the cafe is a bit bumpy but okay. Not a lot of food choice on a Sunday morning.
