Tesco Cafe

Great food and really lovely coffee best I've ever had, the only down fall I found I ordered a cheese burger with onion rings for sides and cost me £1 for only 3 onion rings which was a rip off! And the other thing I found was not alot on the menu. But other than that I give the food 5 stars and would recommend. Staff very polite.

Tesco has moved long way.
Quality of the products is very good and prices have been brought down in comparison to what it was only few years back.
The atmosphere in café is simply great. The coffee is fantastic.
I can highly recommend renovated Tesco café to anyone.

The member of staff who served us seemed to be rushing around doing everything in the cafe but still gave fantastic service with a smile on her face. Good food and great value for money.

ordered a flat white with oat milk and unfortunately couldn’t drink it as tasted sour like the milk had gone off and caused me to feel sick the whole day.

At 9.44 am 2 breakfasts ordered,cafe not busy and saw 6 staff at least. 25 mins later the food was put on shelf ready to collect. Stayed there 4 mins before we got it. Food barely warm. Saw cook handling g food with bare hands,no tongs,gloves. Staff could do with veering up, no one smiled! Overall a bad experience. Not returning here again

Visited Tesco cafe Clacton on sea today 11th june 2022
Food came up Luke warm sausage I doubt if was even 60c let alone being above 65c
Plate was cold which didn't help
Staff member was more interested in filling up sauce station
I observed meals being put on service area and staying there for over 5 minutes
Cook eventually ask for it to be taken
Not a good experience at all

Went this morning for breakfast and sadly ended up walking out. We approached the counter to order and the lady at the till was making drinks for customers who were already seated, we were totally ignored.

She finished making the drinks and a colleague came along and offered to take the drinks to the table but she declined and took them herself. Again at no point were we acknowledged, I then looked round and she was clearing tables leaving us standing at the till. Due to this we decided to leave, it was not busy and to be ignored was nothing other than rude.

It’s a shame as the breakfast has been good in the past but for me a simple smile or a few words would have not resulted in this review.

Menu is a bit limited in choice but food is nice and so's the coffee. Often pop in for bite despite the fact I don't actually shop there.
