Excellent home cooked food, just like your mother used to make. Lovely puddings and cakes, plus friendly atmosphere and cheerful staff. A great place to stop and have a meal or just a cuppa, you're made to feel welcome.

Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give zero. Twice in one week I went in. There's no way to let anyone know you're waiting that I saw (no bell etc) Just have to wait till someone comes out of the kitchen. Then they just walk past you!!
To be fair today the third lady who passed said she just had a guy to serve and she'd come back to me but I was already annoyed that two staff members had acted as if I wasn't there!! Didn't even acknowledge me.
The first visit was no better. Staff member outside chatting while I waited. After almost 5 mins I gave up and went elsewhere.
Walked out both times without food. Which is a shame as I'm told its very good.

Very clean and friendly cafe, had a full English breakfast and it didn't disappoint! It was delicious, staff were lovely, prices were great!
