Level Best Art Cafe

I generally go here for fantastic food in an unpretentious but lively environment.

All made on the premises, fresh, and realistically-priced, and often from the ingredients grown in the level-best allotment. PLUS you are helping a charity give life skills, work experience, and a reason to get out of bed to those with learning disabilities.

Lovely people, and the art displays are regularly changed so there is something for everyone.

Please note, the Level Best premises closes at 4, kitchen stops serving at 3:30.

Very friendly, welcoming cafe/restaurant with an arty atmosphere. Delicious and very reasonably priced vegetarian food, made with love. Highly recommended.

A cafe that is run using disabled staff. Meals and cakes all prepared and cooked on the premises and the price is cheap. Well done to all involved.

I really love art because I’m talented at drawing, painting, colouring and sketching.

Jane, Alison and Shona are really lively and friendly.

I enjoy having a wonder round town at lunchtime and at afternoon break.

But sometimes I go to castle park.

Popped in on a rainy Monday. Had an absolutely superb vegetarian lasagne and carrot and coriander soup. Beautifully prepared. Served with a smile. Perfect thank you
