Good food the chips in a tray are nice. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Only issue is on the summer days it can get busy so longer wait time but most places are like that in the summer months.

Clean, comfortable with good food and coffee at sensible prices and very nice staff. Sit inside, outside or takeaway.
Also has very clean, accessible toilet provision.
It adjoins the Visitor Centre which is pleasant and welcoming, also worth a look.

Popped in here today, nice coffee and cakes. Not cheap, but nothing is these days (bloody Putin’s fault) but plenty of tables inside and out….

Really nice place to have a coffee and and a slice of cake (or whatever your preference is) after a long hike. Nice staff too. They do breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, cakes and plenty of other things. Sit in or out and its adjacent to the car park. There is wheelchair access too.

Always call in here for a cup of tea and a gluten free bacon sandwich when visiting Castleton on my motorcycle, my daughter had a hot chocolate and I'd recommend calling in if you're in the area .

Every time I go out on the bike with my little boy we stop at the café to have a brew and a home made Brownie. The food is really nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit
