Hattons Royal Tunbridge Wells

Stopped for sltea and scone. The cakes were good but the tea and coffee was not hot enough. Disabled/unisex toilets. Has outdoor seating.

collapsed into chairs under the umberella out of the rain. Attentive waitress brought menu & sympathy. Ordered a splendid quiche, one of the best I have ever had. The chef a michelin star. Could not fault service, food or price. Definitely recommend

Service awful and meal average. We ordered drinks after a 10 min wait for a server to take our order. Drinks took 30 mins to arrive and we only ordered a coke and a Latte. We then ordered food and had to ask the server where it was as 45 mins had passed - she was flustered looked at her IPad and eventually said I will check. Our food arrived in 1HR from ordering! We were not told there would be a long wait for food before we sat down - that would have been nice. The food was all over cooked like it had been under a lamp. My poached eggs were solid and my wifes portobello mushrooms were like leather. They took these away and we had a long wait to get new meals again.

The male staff member apologised but the young female seemed to be out of her depth with the situation. We never complained or raised our voices and still were charged full price without even an offer of a free drink or knocking something off the meal. Not a great lunchtime experience.

Husband and I stopped for lunch in Hattons on a wet day, whilst visitng Tunbridge Wells. Lovely cafe, we ordered Chicken Coronation Sandwiches. I have to say it was one of the best I have ever had. Not only was the sandwich crammed with the filling, it was of excellent quality. Lots of chicken. Good size cups for our Tea and Cappucino's as well, so often these days the cups hold so very little. Would visit again for exactly what we had, if in the area again soon!

Another amazing New Years Dinner at Hattons and the Wine Rooms. Thank you to all the staff for the fantastic food and service. Happy New Year to you all.

Popped by with a friend for coffee and cake, a lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff. The cake options were lovely, highly recommend all to try the coffee and pecan loaf 😍

Favourite hot chocolate in town. Delicious snacks, salads, pastries.

Delicious food, both the meals and the snacks. The hot chocolate here is probably the loveliest I have ever had.
The prices are reasonable and the staff are simply wonderful. Friendly, hardworking and efficient, they bend over backwards to ensure customers have a pleasant experience and keep things running smoothly.
Would recommend to any Pantiles visitor old and new. 🙂
