Molens Cafe

Excellent value for money, nice atmosphere, great staff and hugely generous portions! I had to ask for half my food to be put in a takeaway box as it was too much to eat but too good to waste!! Highly recommend this place!!

Just brilliant!! Nicest BLT baguette I've had in a long time. Three of us arrived from Blackberry Forge on the recommendation of Jude, the blacksmith there.

We'd been working round the forge and hammering all day, without anything since an early breakfast, so good, simple food was really welcome. It was here in abundance!!!

Lovely people, good service and plenty of parking outside. 6 out of 5 stars!!!

PS... I understand that the salt beef sandwich is to die for!!! ....but I needed a BLT and the garlic mayo requested was just amazing! We'll come again when we're in the area. Try them!!

This place has the atmosphere of a prison kitchen. :layout is weird, staff are unwelcoming... would it be a place to go to enjoy a breakfast...yes, if you enjoy prison...

I had the Eddie's special ...it was ok apart from the food was only warm not hot...chips were great as they were fresh the eggs were warm on outside cold on the yolk very strange.service was excellent and great atmosphere.i will go again for another try .

We had cheese burger meals, the burger was not cooked in the middle, this can be improved upon, service was quick and friendly.
I wouldn't rush back.

Was ignored on entry to cafe by staff , my friend had to prompt two staff behind counter for a menu as sat a while waiting to be served. When tried to attract staff in a polite way was greeted by a disgruntled waitress who seemed like she didn't want to be there, order was taken but my meal arrived quick but after 20 mins was still waiting for my friends meal , had to prompt staff and it appeared to have been forgotten , by now I had eaten my sandwich and 30 mins later my friends meal finally arrived. Poor service won't rush back.
It was also noticed they were running a takeaway service also and maybe the service to the cafe menu's were affected because of this.

Salt beef sandwich is inedible! They did offer me a refund without question when I took the sandwich back and complained

My first time visit to this cafe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food and coffee are excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely will revisit.
