This is a lovely section of this world renowned Royal park. There are vast expanse of open grassy area as well as tended landscaped gardens. Plenty of wildlife is in the park from deers to birds. There no charge for entrance and the parking is also free. Although, a donation is suggested by the park for the upkeep. Lots of lakes about for everyone to enjoy and paths for walkers. Weekends can get busy.

The ready made sandwiches that are in the fridge section are not very nice at all. The bread they are made with does not belong in the fridge.

BUT i was looking at peoples food who had ordered from the menu for hot food and it all looked fantastic. One of my friends had a burger and chips which looked amazing and she said was unreal. Then my other had a BLT chiabata which she said tasted delicious.

Had lunch here with a few family friends here at around 12pm. Quite busy but managed to find a table.

Menu seems to have quite a variety of choices but I dont really like sourdough pizza... Would be great if they can do both normal dough and sourdough... Hence ended up with a burger at the end.

Canned and bottled drinks are very pricy, should have brought in own drinks :(

Update: it's recently been taken over and there's been some massive price increases (£5.45 for a vegan sausage roll?!). I was quite surprised. On a busy Sunday morning, there were few tables available and the ones that were empty, weren't being cleared quickly.

Really great little cafe. Can be long queues and there's toilets and baby change outside of the restaurant area. Masks are recommended. Staff are quick, friendly and professional.

Baby high chairs are available. Hot food available throughout the day.

There are notices around asking you to not feed the animals but many do.

Well situated cafe in Bushy Park. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating both inside and out. Good selection of food available with both hot and cold drinks. Can be busy during peak periods. No competition so it can be a bit on the pricey side. However the quality of the food and drink is good.

Prices are ridiculously high
Some more affordable offers /choices would be welcome.
The only sit in restaurant in the park, in the cold winter weather when out for a walk, a nice hot soup and bread for example, at reasonable price would be popular I'm sure!

Staff were quite rude saying we had entered the queue from the wrong way. There was no one else queuing and when we asked where the sign to let us know about where to queue was, they told us they don’t bother putting it out!

We ordered the halloumi burger, full works breakfast roll and 2 coffees. Whilst ordering, the server turned round and went to the coffee machine. She then read out our order completely wrong back to us and we repeated it twice.

When the food arrived, the wrong food came out for me. When checking the receipt, after telling her twice she still ordered the wrong thing.

2 stars as the food was still nice but the manners of the staff in the outdoor part of the cafe were extremely rude.

I have never written a review before like this having worked in hospitality, but after the treatment yesterday I will not be returning! Plain rude and no customer service on show.
