The Winning Post Cafe

Tidy, friendly cafe close to Streatham common. Welcome break after long walk around the common with its great views. Food well presented and hot for a change.

Terrible portions! On a sausage roll, I recieved one sausage that covered 1/3 of the surface of the bread! My partner had 1 sausage and 1 piece of bacon that left the amount of bread to filling less than 1/2.

Come here with the Mrs... love it !

Good cafe, does what it says on the tin and food is tasty!

Solid greasy spoon, very well priced and the staff were really friendly. Only criticism is that the black pudding is cut too thinly and so was severely overcooked. Everything else on the plate was really nice though.

Cosy traditional London Cafe right on the common. Simple fare and a lovely cup of tea. Newspapers, clean loos, warm and cosy inside.

And they still take folding cash - praise be to God.

What more do you want from a cafe?

Ordered a jacket potato with cheese and tuna from here to takeaway and it was soooo goood! Huge portion and comes with salad for only £5.50. Will definitely come again!

Very good. Fries in fresh oil so I don't get sick.
