First time visiting, after lunch time on a Sunday, and we will definitely be back. The tea and scones were out of this world! Fresh and good! We had the sweet scones with the strawberry jam and earl grey tea. At first I was a little worried if I didn’t have enough clotted cream (I use a lot of it!) but even though we were upstairs the lady who we ordered from the counter came up to check it we needed more. And actually I was ok. Their clotted cream was really good. Lovely staff and place. Love the China dishes. Earl grey was loose leaf tea. Enough for a couple cups.

After checking out all the reviews which mentioned friendly service and great produce it was a completely different experience and very misleading!

The staff seemed not interested in serving us and had some weird EDM type music on in the café which doesn't match the appearance from the outside.

The coffee was very average and felt like the vending machine coffee. No care or thought had gone into it at all. The cake was ok but not outstanding.

I've read that this is a family run cafe however as a customer it doesn't feel like that at all and we actually felt unwelcome. There are many other cafés happy to serve customers but Highness seems not to care.

Very disappointing but hopefully this will help the owners think about customer service and also warn other people to know what to expect.

The Chicken Club panini at this neighborhood favourite is without doubt one of London's finest sandwiches. Lovely staff and a beautiful setting 10/10

A lovely quaint little spot. Great food with vegan options. Very friendly, helpful staff.
There is a spiral staircase which takes you to a very comfortable, family feel sofa seated area.
A lovely touch with very realistic flowers and flower tea cups crockery.
I had the Veggie Baked Potato and the sun-dried tomatoes really made the fresh flavours pop!
Highly recommended.

Such a wonderful place to visit! I've been coming here for months now and the staff is always super welcoming and happy to serve you.

The coffee is delicious (Climpson & Sons) and the cakes and pastries are amazing (hand made!).

I really recommend it :)

Hands down the BEST coffee shop in Highbury. Ran by the loveliest family who always make you feel like a part of the family. Delicious food and all cakes are homemade - 100/10

The only place to get your caffeine fix around Highbury and Islington: the coffee is the closest thing to rocket fuel you can legally get on the market and will surely satisfy your cravings. The staff consists entirely of kind souls who are helpful, thoughtful, and patient even as you exist in the throes of extreme caffeine withdrawal. Bumping beats provide excellent background music; delicious cakes provide excellent excuses to cheat on your diet. Highness is a Highbury highlight.

It’s a good place for a coffee if you want to sit and do a bit of work upstairs. I got their food and thought it was very mediocre. Got the toastie and they used the end pieces of a loaf of bread which was not great to have to pay for.
