The afternoon we visited the two young staff were run off their feet serving a pretty full tea room (with plenty of mums and prams in evidence.) Even then, they were friendly and remarkably efficient. OK, so it's not Fortnums, but our cream tea was more than serviceable. (Small nit - I'd dump the player piano ... it's a bit like eating in a Victorian music hall.)

Huffkins cafe is my go-to place on Oxford Street whenever I need a coffee or afternoon tea and lunch. I've been there several times already this year where I've been able to work remotely on my work laptop too. The place is situated in the John Lewis department store and boasts an elegant tearoom which feels luxurious. The staff are always friendly and welcoming especially Ross who is the Manager, he has always been helpful and the staff including Josh have provided an exceptional level of service. I will visit again for sure :)

Came here few times. Tried jacked potato with coronation chicken which was pretty good. Even was too much chicken to my taste.
And I like coming here sometimes for a coffee with scone. Simple order. Yet 8.75 gbp. For coffee and a scone. Kind of expensive. That’s the only reason 4 stars.

Sorry to say was very disappointed.
I could see the staff were struggling as they were understaffed but the food was not very good.
Pancakes were not freshly made just heated in the merrychef and the size of crumpets.
The sausage, bacon and cheese roll tasted ok but the bread roll was definitely not fresh was falling apart after also being heated in the merrychef ( or similar machine )
The only good thing was the coffee.
Was my first time there but don’t think will go back.

First time visiting this store and cafe. The wait staff was horribly rude. The sign said to help yourself to a table and so we did. Several minutes later a waitress asked us to leave the table as another woman wanted that table - apparently it was her favourite table. We not only left the cafe but left the store and patronized Selfridges instead where the atmosphere, staff, shopping and dining was amazing.

Love this romantic natural light sorta environment , very comfortable to sit at and chill. Got a little raised platform area nearby the windows and you get a nice city view.

They also have round tables for groups of 4-5 .

Good selection of bakery and coffee ! Great to rest after some hours of shopping !

Excellent experience! The staff was attentive, presentation flawless and the cakes were delightful. We were seated next to the window with views onto Cavendish Square Gardens and enjoyed afternoontea with scones and Victoria Cake, which I can highly recommend.
