GREEN LANE CAFE

Went here twice while were staying in the area. Had bacon butties, and sausage butties. Freshly cooked, very tasty. Lovely clean cafe, with outside seating too. Very friendly staff. All served very quickly. Will go again next time in area.

It's quite expensive. I found it strange that they charge 60p extra for salad too!? £4.80 for a ham baguette seemed a lot to me. Admittedly, it was absolutely huge. Unfortunately, instead of ham, I received spam. I feel that this may have been a genuine mistake as the owner seemed flustered, couldn't work out the price and had forgotten entirely about the order. I scanned the menu whilst waiting for 15 minutes to receive my simple takeaway order in a quiet cafe. £10 for a full English! Staff seem nice are polite and the baguette is massive, so an extra star for that.

Lovely establishment, but just don't ask for espresso. Literally the worst I've ever tasted. But super lovely staff.

It was my second time visiting this lovely cafe and I am just as impressed as I was last time!!
