Wandle Park Cafe

Do not listen to people. That place is brilliant!. Beautiful in every possible weather conditions. A lot of really OLD trees. Yeah, it smells like a VEOLIA rlitter trucks near one of exits, but if avoided, you will have lots of fun :)
In every day, it is just perfect place to spend time. Animals, a river, live events, ducks, you name it :)

Unbelivebly rude and unhelpful staff! Astronomically overpriced and dirty. If you're a fan of embarrassing your friends and unteaching your children common courtesy, then this is the place for you. A truly shocking example of how to run a business! Croydon council, please put this cafe out of its misery!

Favourite family picnic spot for summer. Great for walking and viewing. Fun family time. Great open play area for kids. But not for too young. They only have sand pit for toddlers.

Staff are poorly trained and disinterested in providing any customer services. I realise it's a business and it has to make money but charging a small child 5p for a paper cup because he didn't want to drink his cola from a tin is just mean spirited. They should at least have drinking straws for this purpose.

Update: April 2018 - continues to deteriorate. Now only two cheap plastic tables outside to sit at. Menu is even more limited than last year. I think it's future trading days are limited.

Staff are super friendly and are getting quite a hard time from some customers during busy times. Bless them.... They make the experience at the park. Toilets are always cleaned and choice of food is really good x

nice park, especially summer time, have big ground generally used for cricket sport, small stream of wandle river passes through the park and do give good experience as there are lot of sitting benches available next to the small pond.
best place for kids, lots of sports activities available.
parking facility for around 10-15 cards. i am sure its first come first serve basis.
cafe inside the park serves hot and cold food/drink.
toilet facility available at cafe.
there is a band stand available for any local artist to perform.
basketball, tennis, skates separate courts available.

tooo much to do....must visit. enjoy your visit:)

Lovely little park. A pond, a great little playground with scrambling rocks, little paths everywhere, a friendly little cafe and a skate park. Clean and with a great atmosphere. Tram stop literally at the gate.

Cafe is now permanently closed until a new leaseholder is found. At best, operating by Easter '23 or sooner.
