My husband and I have been using the Tram Stop for around 6 months. We usually call in around lunch time (12-1:30pm) for a sit down and a cup of tea and a toasted teacake or a toastie, sometimes once a week, sometimes once a fortnight, depending on the weather, as we travel to Cleveleys via bus from Blackpool. My husband is disabled, he uses a stick, and the cafe is an ideal half way point to take a bit of a rest and grab a bit of lunch before taking in the rest of the high street. We called in today (27th April 2016), as we usually do, at the usual time and I have never felt so disgusted in my life. We ordered, as we usually do, two large teas and two toasted tea cakes, to get the response "We are only serving food. If you want drinks you will have to sit outside". When I asked her if this was a new policy as we are regulars, I got a blank stare. All she said was that this is the case as they get busy? Since when has this been the case? And aren't tea cakes classed as food? Bare in mind that it was bitterly cold outside as the front on the cafe was in the shade, and it is not that far from the sea front. My husband's condition is affected by the cold, and yet they expected him to sit outside in those conditions? It wasn't as if the serving lady was new, she has served us on numerous occasions. There were no signs to state this was the case about sitting outside when they are busy, and we have never been told so before. To top it off, sat at a table behind us was a gentleman with a newspaper spread wide open with just a cup of tea! Absolutely disgusted!

Here for their early bird special breakfast, great value for money. Good home cooked food... Roast dinners only £4.00. 3 course special only £6.00, can't complain about that in this day and age.

I have regularly eaten here, and I can honestly say that it is the best quality and value for money that I have found anywhere in Blackpool. The food is like the best home cooking you could ask for. Would recommend to anyone.

In desperate need of a revamp but still gets really busy with locals. A lot of menu choices both on paper and stuck on the walls, very cheap and I guess you get what you pay for.
Staff were very nice which makes me wish I could rate higher but the environment is just not nice to be in, however food was ok as was everything else. Just ok.
