This place brings me and my family so much joy! It’s one place where we spend the whole day and come out feeling great!

Mainly to try out new games before spending so much monies on board games. Vast selection of games for all age range. Pay the entry fees (usually for a few hours but they would let you stay if they are not very busy), good to book it in advance it can get quite busy over weekends. You can also buy your food/drinks.

Awesome place! Definitely a must do for Croydon if you are into board games. Very reasonably priced, including a the food and drink. You can play games as long as you’d like for £6 (half price off peak). Tons of game selection, all the classics as well as new modern games. Over 1000 to choose from.

Ludoquist is such a friendly and welcoming place to be. The staff are all lovely and the range of games is huge. Beers and snack aplenty though for a proper meal go somewhere else. A brilliant place to spend an afternoon or evening.

It's like being at home with some mates, playing some games, but having someone to serve you drinks and food and clean up after! Quality of food is fairly average, but the food isn't really the main attraction. A HUGE selection of games, quick fun family games, longer more complex social games, games for couples, games for groups, games for young and old and everyone in between, games for all skill levels and levels of experience. More games than you can poke a stick at!
Staff are nice and reasonably attentive, the push button for service is great, and I enjoyed the cocktails. The whole place was fairly bright and well lit, thought it might make the atmosphere a bit better if the overall lighting was a little dimmer but with over table lighting (appreciate that doesn't really play well if moving tables around for different party sizes)
Clientele seemed generally a good bunch, seemed to be mostly regulars but we felt welcome even though clearly no idea what games we wanted to play)

1st time visit and what a lovely day out. This is a must if you love boardgames. Let's start with food and snacks though. Food quality was amazing, selection of food and drink is awesome and fairly priced...alcohol available if you want it, coffees teams and soft drinks if you dont. A good choice of hot and cold food, again, all reasonably priced. Now onto board games... there's a huge array of board games- for all ages too. (I'll be revisiting with my children next time). We did have a few issues with ripped or missing instructions (which would be my only very minor critique- more could be done with regards to upkeep and maintenance of the board games) but staff members where happy to sit with you and explain the rules and walk you through a game and that would be a huge positive - happy, helpful and extremely knowledgeable staff. At The end of our visit we had a mooch around the shop where they have a good selection of games to buy. Overall a wonderful day and I will be going back very soon

Great place to sit down and play some board games with friends while having a beer. I highly recommend the Garlic bread with cheese as a snack!

More life in here than the rest of Croydon High Street on a Saturday night. But it’s easy to see why this place is so popular.

This spacious, inviting space run by friendly staff is stacked with an absolutely huge selection of games (for all ages and interests). Our party of four decided to learn and play The Grimm Forest. Once you get over the moderate learning curve, the game was fast-paced and enjoyable.

Great beer and drink selection too. An absolute winner of a cafe!

Brilliant! Loads of games, new releases & old nostalgic classics. Cocktails are really good and the food. Vegan jackfruit Nachos and the vegan pizza was 10/10. The service from the manager and his team made you feel so welcome and they get involved, Seeing how you’re getting on and helping you choose games and explaining how they work. Honestly I can’t wait to go back. Thank you!
