This newly refurb cafe is quite lovely. Traditional cafe with good food. Though the coffee was a bit milky for my taste it was still good.

Clean and tidy, spacious, well lit. Menus easy to read, staff very helpful and friendly. Food arrived well presented, on clean plates etc. Tea could have been a bit stronger, but not bad. Free newspapers to read. Only downside is the parking outside, road very narrow

A nice cafe with good menu, which we stopped at for breakfast takeaway. Good coffee but the food quality seemed a bit mixed. BLT was better than our normal pitstop but the bacon and egg baguette was a bit disappointing. Generally acceptable but more expensive than normal with mixed quality. Would use it happily if in the area.

Visited with my kids and we were pleased with the portion sizes and the service. I had liver with bacon, onions and gravy and it was delicious!

Have stopped here in the past for a takeaway but yesterday I had time to sit and have something to eat.

I chose to have mushroom omelette with chips and beans, 2 toast and a tea.

When the food came it looked nice but like most places the beans were luke warm and as for the omelette, I took one bite and found it didn't taste right, I lifted it up to find it almost raw it was that wet inside.

I finished the toast andd chips but left the omelette as I've never seen one that wet.

Sadly for me first impressions are important and so that will be my only meal here.

The restaurant was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.

This excellent traditional cafe has become a regular venue for us. The investment in their outdoor, rear patio over the pandemic restrictions is a valuable added and very pleasant, outdoor, mostly covered, dining area.
