Really lovely sitting outside, great smoothie and then kebab with fries. Staff were friendly but disorganised, I don't know if there were lots of new people but it was a bit chaotic with them asking what table number we were several times. Would still return though!

👏 Excellent breakfast 🥓🍳🥐 for lunch! Lovely window seat reserved for 4 👌 Nice atmosphere, very busy at 1.00pm which is great when your seats are waiting for you among all the hustle and bustle..👏 Beautiful French Apple Tart and a real quality Latte to finish off with ☕ 👍
Service was friendly, this visit was all good, so it's a "Yes" from me (and the rest of us too)😊😋🤗

Lovely clean toilets! Nice front of house seating that opens up to lots of outdoor seats. Coffee was fab! As was my sons smoothie as were the American pancakes!

I went to Walnuts for lunch today as they have a large range of choice and I ordered a chicken salad. I asked what the dressing on the salad was and they said it was Caesar. I advised I was dairy intolerant and if I could have the salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar instead, I also asked for no onion.

When the salad arrived it had Caesar dressing on it, I advised once again I was dairy intolerant and I had asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil. They took it back and were quick to replace it. I looked under the chicken and saw they had lifted the chicken off the salad and placed it on top of the new salad as it had the dressing on the bottom of it. I pointed this out to the staff again but said I didn't want another one.

They took this back and brought out yet another salad that still had Caesar dressing on it (which doesn't show up too well in the photo unfortunately) but this time they added the onions to the salad. Needless to say I didn't eat the salad, then when I went to pay I had to explain to two people why I wasn't going to pay for it.

My friend ordered smashed avocado on toasted gluten free bread with poached eggs. The eggs were not cooked properly. They were slimy and the avocado only came on one of the two slices of toast.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience and certainly won't be going back there. It's a shame as I met my boyfriend there for the first time and we tended to go back each year.

I have ordered from Walnuts Cafe on Uber Eats a few times now. Their food has always been excellent with a good variety menu. I really like their signature salad which contains blue cheese, sliced apples and pears, rocket and walnuts and I have ordered this every time as it's so different to the usual salads. This time I ordered gammon steak which is a big piece in butterfly style with a slice of pineapple and a fried egg on top with a tasty side salad and a choice of chips or potato variety. Their millionaires shortbread is also fab with the caramel not being too sweet (although it usually arrives slightly melted because it gets packed in the bag in a separate cardboard box but next to the hot food - I just put it in the fridge to set again). The food is always delivered very hot and always tastes so fresh and prices are reasonable. They always pack everything in sustainable packaging. I have yet to try their breakfast menu but it looks delicious and such a variety.

I’ve been here many times with my partner and his family for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Staff are friendly and service is generally quick. Their smoothies are amazing!!

This is a terrific cafe, restaurant, bar. Fantastic atmosphere....very comfortable and chilled out place to dine either for quick snack or a more indulgent meal. Good coffees and teas and alcohol too if you want that extra dining out experience. The staff are wonderful and 'on the ball'. They were extremely attentative without being a nuisance by keep asking if everything is OK or do we want anything else....when we wanted more wine or tea we just gestured to a waitress/waiter and they'd be straight to our table. We didn't have to wait for anything. This is a great place to meet with friends, family or a business partner because it's a charming, no frills place to eat and drink but equally delightful, clean and airy. Reasonable prices too.....two lunchtime meals, tea, coffee and 3 small bottles of wine for very slightly over thirty quid. We'll be back.

We really liked Walnuts. We visited on a Sunday around brunch time and had to queue outside for around 10 minutes for a table. The interior is so pretty and they have a really varied menu that has tons of good stuff on it!

I opted for the American breakfast pancakes with bacon and an iced latte. Really reasonably priced drinks and food.
