We were visiting Durham and my daughter always wanted to visit a cat café so we stop by and we reserved an hour. The staff is friendly and really well informed about the breed of the cats.
Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Some cats are friendly and others doesn't want to be touch or being pet. They are very curious.
The money goes for vets bills and taking care of those cats.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who love cats.

The cats are great, the staff not so much. I made a joke about the Chinese eating cats a minute or two after we went in. Instead of asking us (me and my son) to leave straight away, she waited for half an hour until we were ready to go, took our £16 (£6 each to sit with the cats and another £4 for a bottle of water and cup of tea) and then asked me to never go back because I had offended her. She obviously wasn't offended enough to miss the chance of getting my money. A quick Google search proved that my joke was factually correct. They do eat cats in some Chinese Provinces.

Introduced a friend to the cafe today and he loved it! No matter who is working you get a friendly welcome. The staff are professional, warm and easy to talk to. Food and drinks are a good price and the cats are gorgeous. Highly recommended

A very nice cat cafe with 6 lazy fluffy cute residents. A perfect place to spend with children. The entrance fee is 6 £ per person. Book your visit in advance, for it is busy, especially on weekends (while booking via their site 2£ deposit is required, the rest of the sum is added to the bill at the end if the visit). The menu includes drinks and desserts, also available on the website + several propositions inside the cafe. Prices are reosonable, cash or cards are accepted. On the spot entrance fee for students includes a free drink (ID card required).

One of the best cat cafes we've been to. The girls running it were so nice and friendly. The drinks were yummy with a choice of milks; they even offer a gluten free bake of the day! The cafe itself is small and intimate, which means you get much more contact with the very friendly cats. We went in the 15:15 slot and were delighted to find out 4pm is dinner time! And our table by the window was where the food cupboard is located, so we got all 6 cats surrounding us! Wish we could've booked a double session but they were booked solid and I'm not surprised!!! Will definitely be back when we're next in Durham. Thank you Pawsome Cat Cafe 🐱

Went to this cafe for the first time today with a couple of friends, and it's such a lovely place! The staff keep it very clean and tidy, while also following covid guidelines. It's obvious how much these cats are loved and cared for, and I recommend this place to anyone who just wants to sit with a bunch of cute cats! Can't wait to go again

The cats are all adorable and the staff are amazingly friendly. Pick up a loyalty card if you plan on going regularly because it is a little on the pricy side (£6 entry in total and one, admittedly quite large, slice of cake is ~£3.50) but definitely worth it to relax and unwind every few weekends or so.
