I’ve been visiting this gem in the Chester Market building for a while now, and thought that it was about time that I shared the experience. I used to just have a coffee, then started having the odd sandwich, then the odd brunch. It’s got to the point where I look forward to seeing what the new brunch special is. There’s always a little twist that makes it interesting and worth a try. Add to that a home made soup of the day and other interesting options, plus fresh artisan bread and cakes, there is something for everybody.

Good coffee. Eggs on toast with pesto and cherry tomatoes. Pesto acidity was too much. Dish overpriced for essentially market cafe food. Being asked, yes asked, for a gratuity Unbelievable.

Portion size made no sense. I got three poached eggs on soggy, wet bread, and my friend got two pieces of toast and one egg with a tiny bit of avocado, I know there is a recession but one meal for £6.50!? The total for two meals came to £22 and that is without drinks. She also asked for no seeds or nuts and she got seeds and nuts, so unfortunately she didn't eat. We went to McDonald's afterwords, starving.

Cold food and egg shell in the other breakfast. The feedback was greeted with a sarcastic smile and a shake of the head. Wouldn’t eat here again as there are far better options in the New Market.

Amazing! Visiting for the weekend and stopped for coffee and mince pies. They are so good we came back for more! Really friendly staff and amazing food.

Wow... Looking for a coffee and a snack... Found Crustum in the indoor market. My wife ordered a soya cappuccino and I had an Americano. We also ordered the crushed avocado on soda bread toast with lemon and chili flakes and the vegan sausage with egg and began cheese brioche bun. I have too say my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. It was just fantastic and the coffee way better than any of the franchise places by a long mile. Looking forward to another visit...

Seriously THE best vegan food I’ve had in a long time! Had the breakfast sandwich and it was incredible! The vegan egg was so delicious 🤤
