Exceptional. First of all, the location is great next to the river with parking for boats and cars. New proprietors who are really making you feel welcome. Had good coffee, breakfast and cake sitting in the garden in the sun in March. Toilet facilities are impeccable too. Everything you might want.

Tried to grab a cuppa in The Galley cafe, but they don't like dogs. Saw the sign for Staithe and Willow cafe across the road welcoming dogs, so we took a look and boy was we glad we did. Food was excellent especially the bacon breakfast muffin with the best hash brown I have had. Staff were friendly and welcoming and you get a great view from the garden. We'll be back soon hopefully.
We didn't stay away long at all, back again today. This time we had a Ploughman's and it was delicious, local food served very well. 2 days on a trot it must be good.

An amazing little bistro by the river side.
A thatched cottage with little garden.
We were staying in a house in the area for a few days and enjoyed breakfast at the S n' W bistro twice during our short stay.
Both times we were made very welcome, even the dogs were shown the same care as they were presented with some sausage. (Obviously we were given it to give them if we felt it appropriate which was even more thoughtful)
The menu was limited which was refreshing. There was a breakfast menu, light lunch and then menus for cake and drinks. Each with a perfect mix of delicious options.
While we didn't have cake, it being breakfast time, they were displayed inside and looked heavenly.
We had a vegetarian breakfast and a full English.
The staff were able to explain exactly where everything was produced, much home made and local.
I was very impressed with the veggie version, it was perfect. It wasn't an add on to keep the veggies happy. MOH had the full English and hardly spoke a word while eating. He said the sausage was divine. The portion size was perfect, a hearty breakfast for him without being ridiculous.
Even the bread for the toast was locally produced and very tasty.
I had oat milk for my coffee which was available. Both our coffees were perfect. A smooth easy morning coffee, not bitter or over roasted.
There was decaf available, but only in a cafeteria.
There is inside and outside seating. We enjoyed the garden as it was warm and sunny.
Even the garden is well cared for with unusual blooms all around.
I got the impression that every aspect of the menu, producers and surrounding is considered in great detail. This is clearly an establishment run by someone who is considered and thoughtful.
We certainly hope to travel back and would do so, just to visit the bistro.

We were walking past this place, when we noticed a sign advertising fresh Cromer crab sandwiches. As I am a great crab lover, that was enough to tempt me, and that is what we both had. We ate in the pretty garden area, and when the sandwiches arrived, they were served with salad, and we're absolutely delicious! We then saw the cakes in the display cabinet and couldn't resist, so I had a slice of the salted caramel and my husband had a slice of the coffee and walnut. They were also delicious and huge! I would definitely recommend this place.

Quintessential English riverside tea rooms. Lovely views from the garden. Had coffee and scones for a very reasonable price. The outside metal chairs could do with a wipe down though in the dewy mornings.

Absolutely lovely staff & owner. Beautiful courtyard garden in which to watch the boats go by.
Beautiful inside too.
Food absolutely delicious. We had scones & then breakfasts. Favourite cafe.

Lovely tea room with very friendly and helpful staff, garden tables nicely placed and protected from wind.

Went back a few days later for lunch and still excellent or even more so.
