Best chai latte I have had in a while, the menu is great with many options from vegan to more meaty....drinks, friendly staff and reasonable prices. They do soup of the day and more, salads, toasties...well highly recommended u. You are in the the area

Very individual, high ceilinged cafe with what looked to be a good range of wholesome, home cooked dishes with good veggie options. Friendly staff and a good vibe. Music quite loud, but good music! Out coffees (oat milk no problem) and cake all good.

Best coffee. Great spot and the best flat white I’ve had during my trip to the UK. Friendly and efficient service with delicious smashed avocado and poached eggs. Highly recommend a visit.

We came here for breakfast, they do a great vegan and vegetarian option which is why we came. We managed to get a table for 6 downstairs. The breakfast itself was lovely, everyone enjoyed it. After that it went down hill. we were just left, no-one came to check on us. We tried to catch waiters attention a few times to order coffees and cakes but no luck. One of our party went to check the cake options, no vegan options which I thought to be strange as they are meant to cater for vegans, so that was disappointing. A waiter then came to clear the table opposite so manage to get them to take our drinks order. The drinks and cakes didn't go down as well as the breakfast unfortunately. Dry and bland. I ordered the spiced apple, which was just hot apple juice considering it was £3.50 I expected more. We learnt from the last time and asked for the bill when the drinks came. The waitress brought down the bill with the card machine, we went to get our card to pay and she walked away! No idea why, so we then had to go up to pay. Wouldn't return, very poor service, shame as the breakfast was quite nice but doesn't make up for the rest which just isn't up to scratch.

Lovely little cafe with friendly staff. Popped in for a coffee while waiting for my car to charge. I had a white americano and a croissant with jam and butter. The croissants was beautifully soft and fresh and there was lashings of butter and jam provided. A nice relaxed environment with very good service.
I'd recommend it.

What a lovely way to start the New Year. Clementine was one of the few places open on New Year's Day, and we were made to feel welcome by friendly staff, even though we just wanted a coffee. Service was very good, despite the eaterie being very busy, and the coffee was excellent.
We loved the period details of the room and would definitely return to sample some of the tempting brunches we saw at other tables!

Its really disconcerting where the first words that come from the servers mouth are a very terse instruction of where you are permitted to sit. Last time it happened I thought it was a one-off, clearly not so as it happened again today. Could be such a lovely a lovely cafe if the staff treated you as a customer with a little more warmth remembering that without customers there won't be a cafe. Table and floor had not been cleaned from the last customer either.
