Lovely campsite with several lakes with good fishing and lakeside pitches. Excellent heated shower block with separate ladies and gents showers, toilets and wash basins. 2 large disabled/family shower and toilet rooms. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Paula on reception was extremely helpful and was happy to search on internet to assist us with queries. Several other young men working on site were also very helpful. We had an issue with a dog constantly barking which was quickly resolved. There is also a well stocked fishing shop. Very nice cafe/ restaurant on site. Would come again but not in school holidays!

This place has not changed over the years, still fantastic service, great food & cakes, a friendly cat called Mouse that spent the night with us & a cracking pub is 5 mins walk away. Toilets are still immaculate, and can't wait to go back.

Lovely place, nice setting, but left without being served. Think I might have been standing in the wrong place at the bar, but was the only person present and staff smiled but left me standing there then served the cyclists who came in after me. Went elsewhere.

Fantastic venue to suit all needs! Variety of fishing lakes to suit anglers of all levels, great accommodation options, lovely food in the café and shops on hand too! Stayed last year for the first time, and had such a good time that we've decided to make it an annual trip (plus all the other times we're there fishing on day tickets). Can't wait to stay again!

Fished the Ribbon lake with the family. We were catching carp pretty much all day on a method feeder keeping the kids interested. My youngest brought in a nice 7lb Common. Lovely set up with the cafe and shop. Next time we might bring the tent and stay over night.

We have just enjoyed a weekend in the safari tent ⛺️ friendly and helpful staff. Loved the little welcome pack of goodies 😋 thankyou. Clean tent , loved having the Christmas tree 🎄
Very clean shower/toilet block. My children enjoyed seeing the friendly cat 🐈 there and the ponies.
Def will stay again. 😁

Fantastic stay for a surprise weekend for the other half’s birthday. We stayed in the Shepard’s hut which was perfect for the two of us and had a beautiful view overlooking the lake. The on-site cafe did a fantastic breakfast each morning included in our stay. We also had lunch and dinner there which was super tasty. Perfect amount of options for a weekend but if we stayed longer would love to see a few more vegetarian options to mix up the food. Will look forward to coming back again in the future
