Good quality food and very reasonably priced! We were a bunch of 8, so food was a smidge slow getting out, but it didn't bother us. Especially as they brought out the food as and when it was ready.
I highly recommend the gorgeous chicken, bacon and avocado salad!! Everyone enjoyed the food and delicious coffees. We will be back!
NB. the entrance/car park is a bit underdeveloped, don't judge the place by the initial look.

Popped in today for lunch. Due to the temperature it was a reduced menu & I went for the bacon, Brie & onion sandwich. It was lush!! Lots of filling, very good quality ingredients & superb service. I will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Wow, this is a hidden gem that I absolutely loved. The view, the staff and the food is just wow! The owner had a little lad working with him, only around 8-9 years old and what can I say. His manners were impeccable. Absolutely stunning little find and I will be back. There was no hot food due to the heat wave of 40 degrees but my salad was so tasty, fresh and delicious.

Outstanding food, lovely friendly service by Alison and Mark.
Lovely venue by the canal for eating and drinking.
Lots of outdoor seating and indoor lounge.
Excellent food on offer and presented well and tastes great.
Alison was lovely and served us with a smile even though trying to fit a cider barrel in a small space.
Music was a tad loud but Mark turned it down so we could chat. Fabulous birthday meal.
Thank you lounge cafe clifton.

Not good. Had roast beef. Meat tough, 2 roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese ( most odd taste, but no cheese.) Carrots so hard couldn't cut with knife. Only nice item was yorkshire pudding ( although 2 were burnt. Only redeeming feature was the delightful waitress but I'm afraid will not be returning.

Food is fresh, delicious and vibrant. The the staff are so friendly and its a lovely place to sit and watch the boats go by. Will definitely be back for breakfast! Be wary of the chilli sauce - it bites! Yum!

Really fantastic food! I had the sausages, poached eggs and smoked beans and cleaned my plate. Staff were really lovely and helpful too.

Beautiful venue, amazing food, lovely staff - what a gem! Was expecting to sit and wait for ages in a pub for a Sunday lunch but found this place and wow! I could write a whole separate review just about the Yorkshire Puddings!
