The Fig

I love Fig! I had to check it out on a visit to Rye after noticing recent reviews. This is probably the best eggs Benedict with salmon on sourdough I've ever had the pleasure to eat. The coffee was superb too. This is a definite must do if in Rye. Tucked in at the far end of the High Street, but easily accessible. Indoor seating only, but very clean. Hosts very welcoming. Waitress cleaned our table on arrival. Definitely popular but not too rammed (Friday morning). Coffees brought promptly. A little bit of a wait for the food, but definitely worth it! Wow. Good prices for what was served. Very generous portions, so very good value for the price (note to owners: don't change that, it was perfect). This is 10/10 for a quality experience. I wholly recommend this establishment. You'll love it. ❤️

We had a gorgeous stay at The fig after booking very last minute for an August mini-break. One of the nicest hotels/bed and breakfasts we’ve ever stayed in, and the staff were all incredibly accommodating and friendly. Super close to the station (less than 10 minutes walk) and an ideal location right in the centre of Rye. The room was beautiful, with a lovely view and we had everything we needed. A highlight for us was the breakfast that came included with the stay. We were expecting a basic cereal/yoghurt selection but were delighted to find out we could choose anything from the pretty extensive brunch menu - both days it was absolutely delicious. Would thoroughly recommend The fig to anyone looking to stay in Rye!

Went there on Saturday night! food was amazing, service was so fun and friendly, drinks were great, really really recommend. We 2 veggies and was so good to see that most of the menu was pretty much all veggie. If we come back this will be the first place on the list. thanks guys!

Stayed with a friend for a couple of nights and just loved it, probably the best part of our Rye trip. The presentation, portion size and quality of the coffee, smoothies and breakfast was immaculate. The room looked great, you could see real love had gone onto the design. Staff were friendly and accommodating, would definitely go again.

A really fantastic meal and cocktails before the cinema after having not been for a while.
We went with another couple and all chose two sharing plates each which we cut into quarters so we could try all.
All absolutely delicious and such new and original combinations of fresh ingredients.
We then shared an almond and cherry tart as we really were full up!
As always the staff were so friendly, attentive and charming.
The place was buzzing and had had a makeover and looked amazing.

We had an amazing meal here, the food is absolutely beautiful and the tapas style is great with food coming to your table at a great pace.

We had an aperitif of a Moscow mule and a n old fashioned and both were superb. There is also a great selection of wine.

Service was very friendly and attentive- we never felt rushed but they were on the case whenever we wanted something.

We absolutely recommend The Fig and we will be back!

I had lunch in the Fig today.
I can't fault it. Goats cheese and roast veg. Virgin bloody Mary and a espresso. My friend had a cauliflower steak. All the food was brilliantly spiced and seasoned. Service was excellent and the ambience relaxed. I can't recommend it enough.

Had amazing food here. Every dish was delicious. We're vegetarian and sometimes small plates can fail you a bit when you order all veggie options, but they were all great.

Service and drinks were perfect too, we loved the gingerita.
