Friendly owner, really accommodating with children’s portions, very reasonably priced. Delicious Salt Beef and Pie and Mash and bagels from Brick Lane. We’ll definitely be returning. Awesome!

Went today for pie and mash a traditional one. Went with sister and niece and drove from Epping. So a good half hour. Sister did not even want to drink her coffee as cup was dirty. And asked for a second cup which was also dirty. We heard microwave pinging every minute so even pie was microwaved. I attempted mine pie was not traditional also mash was like slush. Sister said she was not going to eat hers before it came out cause of the coffee cup. So we got hers for takeaway. Also was £8 for pie and mash. Safe to say I won't be back

This is a great little cafe, with great service and good food. Very friendly, and having just moved locally, it has become quite a regular pitstop. Glad it's there...!

Tracy does the most fantastic cream tea at £10 per head for and I strongly urge people to try it. Had another one today delicious. You also have the antiques in the maltings as well. A wonderful day out

Lovely cafe, we had the Salt Beef Bagel and a cheese toastie. The salt beef could have come from Brick Lane it was so good. The cheese toastie was oozing cheese and the fries served with it were lovely.

Only recommendation would be some more vegetarian/vegan choices.

Found this little gem today and will definitely be returning! Food was amazing, I had the Turkish mezze which was like no other so nice to see small cafes offering such a range of food.

A little gem of a cafe tucked away near Sawbridgeworth Railway Station. Great coffee, great service, great atmosphere.
