Nice place, good food, friendly wait staff can do with more focus on order and not getting it wrong, still was so good didn't want changing.

Great food! We’re coming back from Alton Towers waterpark. We ordered english breakfast, soup, pulled pork wrap, quiche and kids fish with mash potatoes and peas. All amazing, very friendly staff! We gonna come back!

Always good food ...friendly staff ...even at busy times. It's a little pricey but the food is always well presented and tasty. Nice little shopping area too with nice locally sourced goods and produce. Plenty of parking and excellent toilet facilities that I have always found clean and well stocked.

We stopped off here on the way to our holiday home for the weekend.
Great food, great service, and an overall great little place.
Great sized portions. Everyone’s food that passed us by looked amazing too!
Some fab stuff in the shop to take away as well.
Would thoroughly recommend

Called into Cottage Kitchen today for lunch.
Really welcoming. Greeted at the door by a wonderful lady named Alison who showed us to our table
Spotlessly clean. Always a good sign
Alison was extremely helpful. She said to try the turkey bap. Which my friend did. I had the delicious soup. Cheese and broccoli very tasty.
Alison was so polite and made our visit to Cottage kitchen worthwhile
Thank you so much. We really did enjoy it We also had a look around the shop whilst we were there ideal for something different for Christmas pressies and love the cards too
Highly recommended Cottage kitchen on the Ashbourne road. Well worth a visit if you’re passing that way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

after hiking at manifold trail and throwley hall in a hot sunny day, we arrived 1:35pm and table were ready for us that booked day before. good choices of meals on menu and in particularly desserts and cakes.we all ordered cool drinks and came with ice cubes, i ordered staffordshire hoppy bitter, when it arrived, it was warm and the glasses were warm as well. staff kindly added ices to the glasses.
food were tasty and money for values. the bread and butter pudding with custard was delicious and not too sweet.
