Food is okay ish takes forever to arrive even when cafe open and isn’t very clean I used to own a cafe come in guys cleaning stuff isn’t hard and if it’s dirty don’t use it

We go here often on a Sunday morning and love it, decent food, great price, no frills but no hassle breakfast
Today however was disappointing, I leave this hoping they see it and take the hint. Today the place was dirty, my jumper got marked by the table, not a clean cup or tea spoon could be found and chairs where sticky, not great at 945 on a Sunday when they've barely opened, last night's staff obviously got lazy.
Food was still great

Used to be reasonably decent for a supermarket cafe.
Unfortunately the food served is overcooked .
The attitude of whoever is in the kitchen at this cafe is rude .
Could hear the verbal outbursts & slamming because I dared complain .
When you pay nearly £10 pounds for a lunch you expect it cooked properly .
Whoever the female is in the kitchen needs training in customer service.
The young man serving every credit to him for taking customer's complaints on the chin .

The dinning cafe Morrison's Leyland, is where Customers can stand for several minutes waiting at the till to place an order. Where the floor around the tables is regularly strewn with food debris and the red leather seating smeared with greasy finger marks, liquid stains from spilt drinks and crumbs of varying proportion. One can only smile whilst shuffling around trying to avoid getting any of it on ones clothes. In the same area, some tables look inadequately cleaned. A young(ish) male employee with a pleasant demeanour puts clean knives and forks in the cuttelry trays by holding the ends that customers eat with and generally seems out of his comfort zone. Lord knows what the very average food has to endure before it gets served. The chicken tika masala is probably about the best bet, otherwise breakfast can be ok, when the place is still quite organised. The two stars are for some good staff who try hard whilst working under draconian pressure conditions. Ultimately, anyone with a bit of self respect might want to think twice before putting themselves through the "experience".

No vegetarian breakfast, no vegan breakfast. We ordered vegan on machine as said in stock although no vegetarian avail there was still vegan. Initially lady came out and just said you ordered vegan is none. I asked any other vegan food, no! What do you suggest I asked? Manager called who came up looking fed up. No apology at this stage or friendliness, customer care??? Put my card under for refund still no engagement with customer. Eventually lady from behind in food prep said sorry and manager said sorry about that but didn’t look up. Not a good experience overall from food availability to overall customer care at every level. Needs huge improvement on all fronts and support of customers on dietary restrictions with some available options!

After the renovation, the cafeteria is brilliant.
Nice choice of hot drinks, food is superb and KIDS EAT FREE with a purchase over 4'50£ or something.
Purchase display and counter options available.
In conclusion they did really nice job out there, quality food, fair prices and nice atmosphere

Order a toastie and had French dressing all over to the point it was all I could taste asked for a new one with none of and it still did have it. Only 2 staff in the whole time and not very polite either. The only thing good about it is the food coming quick.

visited cafe due to half price breakfast we received food from Linda, she made us feel very welcome if we had a problem we didn't hesitate to ask her. Anytime we revisit we are specifically coming to see Linda for her great service.
