My parents who regularly visit have often recommended and I can see why. Party of 5, hiccup with serving but quickly resolved and staff attended and dealt with promptly, stars will not be deducted as mistakes are made, it’s how they are dealt with that matters! Plenty of choice from the menu for all in the party including a child and vegetarian. From the garden centre, the shop, restaurant and locally sourced goods all made for an enjoyable visit. Very pleasant, staff very friendly and approachable. A lovely and enjoyable afternoon with family 🥰 I personally would recommend calling beforehand though to make sure you can be seated as this place is popular

Very pleasant here, even though we hadn't booked we were lucky and got a table. We had a light lunch of panini and salad, it was delicious with proper ham and cheese. The menu variety was just right. The service was excellent and even though it was busy it was clean. Really enjoyed our lunch and even spent some money in the garden centre.

Called in before a long drive on the motorway. Excellent choice of cakes. Etc Etc. Settled for Jam,clotted cream and scones. Service was quick. Cannot fault anything. Oh except Laura the young lady who served me and my wife. She is most knowledgeable of different teas, cakes menus, but please don't tell her a joke because she will out joke you like a professional comedian. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be making an appearance. 👍🤓

I have visited twice now and would recommend booking as it gets very busy! Great place for a relaxed lunch and coffee. The menu is fairly basic ( hence the drop in 1 star) but good value for money, making it more affordable in these times! The staff are super friendly and overall it’s a nice place to visit, especially with the shop next door too.

Nice place to come to on the weekend. Had tea and cakes with family. Gluten free option available which was great. Garden shop was lovely and decorated for Christmas. Will be going again.

My wife and I visited the Potting Shed for afternoon tea and found the whole experience very enjoyable.
We were met by friendly staff who showed us to our table in the clean and well spaced out room. We were made to feel welcome.
The tea, sandwiches and cakes were brought promptly and were all found to be tasty and enjoyable. My wife was given a vegetarian option.
Overall a very pleasant experience that we would highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere. Kids loved their jacket potatoes and hubby his beetroot and goat cheese salad. Good place for a quick lunch. Haven't been here for dinner time so not sure. They serve hot drinks as well. Pet friendly - as long as you are seated outside.
