Charlie's Cafe

Always great service from pleasant staff, who make you feel welcome. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. However, the cafe is small, seating about 40 people, and being a very popular place gets very busy.

A very clean restaurant that has had a bit of a revamp. Menu is still extensive and the staff are just as friendly. Prices are still good, too.

Guy in there was slow on the uptake but food was decent the lady in there is on the ball and the prices are fair, heinz beens but dodgy nuclear ketchup. Proper lack of parking but generally would reccomend it.

Called in for breakfast it was lovely worth every penny lovely and hot and a really good selection to choose from very clean as well

If you fancy a hearty breakfast then this is the place, nice salad options, it doesn't fail to deliver, if you've ever seen 'man V food' you get the idea, all on the doorstep close to Watford FC enjoy 👍👍🍴🥅

Great little cafe with happy friendly staff

A very basic cafe which has quite a huge options to choose from from hot meals to sandwiches. No menu on arrival so have to choose directly at the counter and no table service either. However, they do bring your meal to the table and very cheap compared to other places in the area. Will I return? Probably not but do review for others to decide

Coming into the cafe, I was immediately greeted by the waitress.
The service was very quick and only took about 7 minutes to receive my food.
I was impressed by the huge portions; the sausage, chips, bacon, mushrooms and eggs all cooked perfectly.
The eggs had a runny yolk so make sure to ask for it well done if this isn’t your thing.
Also the toast came pre-buttered which I really enjoyed.
The toast was a little burnt for me although my partners was perfect, maybe a little luck of the draw.
Overall I really enjoyed the meal and expect good quality & quantity when coming to this cafe.

The breakfast here was above and beyond excellent, the service is second to none, being near the hospital they often have people in of loved ones (like us)who are ill,they ask if all OK don't rush you and as said go above and beyond to do what they can....a great asset to the Watford community 😀
