Best cafe in town. Been going every Saturday for about 10 years

Been here a couple of times and were greeted nicely by the women. Went in today and the customer service was horrendous. The guy who is usually in served the customer in front then walked off into the kitchen. We waited and waited for him to come back. He went to microwave the beans then started sorting out the sleeves to put the sandwiches in. 4 people in the kitchen and not one of them acknowledge that we had patiently been waiting for some time. Everyone in the kitchen looked at us and knew we were there. Still we waited just to be acknowledged. Waited and waited. In the end we walked off. If a place looks at new customers with contempt then I have no interest giving them my business. Will NOT be returning here and wouldn’t recommend others doing so whilst that guy is involved.

Excellent, very good value, friendly staff- not many of these places left.

Never answer the phone. Had an order of 12 sandwiches and tried calling for over 20 minutes. No one answered. Double checked the phone number. No mistakes my end. And this is not the first time. I’m glad they’re customer base is such that they do not need phone orders

Foods great back staff great man at front of house taking orders is miserable and rude didnt even say hi when i said hi

Lovely staff proper greasy spoon fab food..

Great food and very good prices

Superb as per norm even with customer special requests. 👍👍
