Average to poor and in a town full of great cafes, that isn't good enough. Waited for a table, people jumped in front and the staff didn't notice or care. Our table wasn't cleared, cups still on it from previous customers. Waited 15 minutes to order despite asking for menus, once we ordered took ages for luke warm poached eggs and a bowl of soup. An overpriced toastie was good. Coffee was ok. Staff were occasionally friendly but almost random in their service, wandering from table to table.
I've eaten in better motorway service stations and had better service in McDonalds.

We liked it at the harrods cafe, didn’t book a table and managed to get seated on the comfy sofa seating. Had coffee and pastries both very good. Expensive but I suppose it’s harrods so your paying for the brand. Nothing extra special ... no nice toiletries In the bathroom or anything. There was live music which I thought was a very nice touch to make it an experience.

Very good food but plenty of room for improvement. Our food and drinks arrived very quickly but when we tried to order two more coffees in the middle of our meal it took 20 minutes to arrive. The greeting at the "Please wait to be seated" sign wasn't especially special and the staff weren't organised. It didn't feel like the Harrods experience I was expecting.

Nice Cafe good selection of food and lots of seating. Had soup and a sausage roll, they did take a while to arrive even though it wasn't very busy, nice waiter apologized. Food was good and hot, very tasty just found there was a lot of black pepper on everything, kept finding big peppercorns which wasn't great but still tasted fine just found that a bit off putting to bite down on! Overall it was fine

Not what I was hoping for, ordered two coffees one with a caramel syrup.
No Choice of syrups only one to make it taste sweeter.
Asked if they have anything that’s gluten free to eat, no we don’t do anything.
Come on Harrods we expect more from you.
And to finish it off we asked to pay with cash oh no sorry we don’t hold change in our till (why not tell the truth you don’t take cash )
Checked on the way out no sign to say card only.
Obviously you don’t live up to your name, very disappointed

Lovely ambience and good service. The almond croissant was excellent, best I've tasted, to date.

I recently visited Henley just a day out browsing! Yes it’s a nice place so we decided to visit this Cafe as a treat after all it’s the name Harrods which pulls you in…… not the experience I expected!! The staff where absolutely atrocious, no curtesy in fact I would go as far to say darn right rude, the place was empty just another couple apart from my husband and I. With 4 staff behind the counter which I have to say was in such disarray, they just ignored us, I smiled in the hope to get someone’s attention! Eventually a chap came over with the menu stating that there were only the cakes available to eat! I have to say they weren’t anything special given it’s Harrods. People were coming in only to be told “ takeaway only “ it was only 4:pm open until 8:pm!
The young girls behind the counter started arguing! They just couldn’t be bothered other than clearly wanting to get out of there. Someone arrived for a takeaway coffee… they couldn’t even find a lid for the cup!
Harrods management should really come down and take a look at what’s going on….. you cannot assume you are going to get special service, food and ambiance just because it’s Harrods. Disgusted and very disappointed.
We enjoyed our time in Henley, we had a very good coffee in Costa, service with a smile!

Went today around 12.30pm. Bit untidy but ok. Ordered poached egg....egg poacher apparently broken. Ordered Bagel....no bagels apparently. Ordered cream tea . it came with no cream "it ran out" even though there is a Waitrose right behind. Coffee was nice. BTW there were 5 very young teenagers serving, with no Management to be seen. Some were dancing behind the counter, the others laughed and chatted, with their backs to the customers. At one point, another customer had to go to the counter to fetch cutlery., because no one saw her waving, This is supposed to represent Harrods....so disappointing. Not really blaming the teenagers...where is the Management? If you don't want go work Sundays, then perhaps don't open on Sunday.
