Linden Tree Tea Room

Friendly staff. Excellent coffee. Great selection of cakes. Brilliant service. Worth a visit if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed. Update.. Went back and had a meal. Food was really excellent. There really is a friendly atmosphere in this Tea Room. You feel like you belong. Don't give this place a miss, a must visit if you're in the area.

Apparently I should of been told I cannot park on the front , nothing was said to me, I had called here with a special needs client and have now been sent a fine!!!
Although the milkshakes were amazing and the food was good , my client enjoyed.
They were courteous, just very busy I guess

Just an opinion… you can’t deduct stars because of the parking issue as it’s not the fault of this lovely place.

Our first visit today,but it won't be our last! I notice a previous review complained they weren't told about the parking issue,but it's mentioned on their website,they have a large yellow A board and a sign at their own door,not to mention the not quite as eye catching, but still obviously there signs,put there by whoever owns the parking bays,not sure what else they can do! Anyway,my sister and I had a very early hospital appt today so decided to treat ourselves to breakfast here. The reviews I have read previously did not lie,from the wonderful warm welcome from every staff member we came into contact with,to the excellent,freshly cooked Full English,served on hot plates and very reasonably priced. The place itself has a lovely warm ambience, nicely decorated at the moment for Christmas without being over the top. A thoroughly enjoyable experience,which we look forward to repeating very soon.

Today was my first visit to Linden Tea Room but it definitely won’t be the last. Delicious food served by professional friendly staff. Value for money and a fabulous menu to choose from. The small breakfast was perfectly cooked to my request. I bought a mince pie to take away which was exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my return visit. Well done to all and thank you 🤩
