The stables cafe

What a lovely surprise this café is. The food is really good, inexpensive and simple. A small place but there's access outside where you can sit in the sun and watch the bowls matches. You can book for afternoon tea 🍵 and the cakes are very nice and yummy 😋. There are other rooms available for booking special events and a friend of mine recently had a wonderful wedding reception here with a barbecue and karaoke afterwards and there is also a small bar. I highly recommend it for a visit.

Well worth a visit to this café, very very reasonable prices and the staff are lovely and friendly. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

went for family wedding reception weather was pretty good so we sit the ground which was very nice the dome was nicely set up as well let down on bar only serving can beer with a limited choice 😥apart from that great night 👍

had a latte and scone here Monday PM, coffee was really nice but the scone at£1. 95 & a pound for tiny pot of jam left a bitter taste, the scone itself was awful so wouldn't recommend scone staff were pleasant and venue very pleasant.

Bad experience today. One young girl on her own taking orders making drinks and trying to cook loads of breakfasts. My party consisted of 5 and there was another larger party.Plus pet outside. Poor lass ended up phoning her MOTHER to come and help her.

Felt so sorry for her. Eventually the manageress came .Terrible experience for us. Brings to mind Fawlty Towers.

Rearly enjoyed my coffee and sausage cob cant believe how cheap it was and the girls who served us are so nice x going again next week with my sister's x

Popped in for a quick coffee. Really friendly people and nice cappuccino sitting outside in the sun.

Nice range of light meals and the service was good too
