Well its called the quince resturant but google only let me select terrace cafe. Lovely cakes the coffe was decent. Nice seating in and out but in the afternoon sun half of the tables were a little warm to sit at as not shaded but lets not moan about being to warm in the uk!
Staff nice and polute but we got left standing at the counter and then told its table service when other people were serves at the counter. The wait for food and drink when half fill was quite a wait and the polite staff seemed rushed off their collective feet. Getting a bill and then paying for it was an effort.

Light and airy design with a huge outside deck which is great in good weather. Seven of us lunched here in July 2016 and thought the service was excellent, the menu interesting, the food well prepared and presented and the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. Genuinely couldn't fault the experience and the free parking outside for visitors to the museum and cafe is an added bonus!

On Friday 23rd March 2018, whilst walking the Thames River towpath I noticed an advertisement for the River & Rowing Museum Cafe, my partner and I decided to stop there for lunch.

Ordering a sandwich with a pancake sweet to follow...was an utter catastrophe! The sandwich was minute and tasteless with the blueberry pancakes inedible. We had to sit patiently and waiting over 20 minutes for the sweet to arrive - this following our prompting the staff. When it eventually arrived, again, disappointment! Negotiating a pancake should be easy enough with a fork alone, but, even with a knife I could not cut the into the hardened mix.

How on earth a professional kitchen could place this luncheon in front of a paying patron is beyond me.

A lunch ruined by a kitchen that did not care.

Bright and modern top quality interior. Selection of well presented meals at lunchtime, and good range of cakes and drinks throughout the day.

I love the Chocolate Cafe in Henley but this new place they have opened is utter disgrace. Literally waited an hour for a ham sandwich and a jacket potato, which arrived cold. Not going again.

This is a hidden gem. An indoor/outdoor cafe with garden or river views. Quality food at reasonable prices.

We snack eat and drink tea here regularly and are never disappointed.

Ham & cheese panini good & melted, salad fresh, crisps crunchy plus fruit scone, clotted cream and jam all good.

Tea piping hot and all for £24 for 2 rounds of everything.

Excellent brunch, fluffy pancakes, bathed in maple syrup and piping hot full English breakfasts. Lovely outdoor terrace and special hot chocolate.
