Loved it. Really good food. Coffee was nice roast with soft and mellow flavour. Decently priced, friendly and efficient staff. Looks like it's really popular so a little cramped particularly if you are less tabled but will visit again for sure just to try the cakes!

This local independent cafe is great for the community and is warm and welcoming. As a vegan I'd like to see more options for me but they're evolving and happy to listen to suggestions. Would get 5 stars if vegans had slightly more cake and savoury options on the menu.

I love The Hollow from the friendly chats with staff to the beautiful artwork on the walls, the comfy seating & decor. There is something I love about The Hollow more than all these though..... The Cake! Homemade, big slices of delicious cake. The savoury food is yummy too whether you are a carnivore or veggie/vegan there is some tasty morsel for you. If you, like me like cake the choice is always good - for vegan & gluten free palates too.
To go with your yummy cake the choice of hot or cold beverage is varied with the coffee being the best around.
Below I'm tucking into a delightful slice of Lemon & Elderflower sponge (I had to go back for more!)

Love this place! On several visits there has been Beatles classics playing and other feel good music providing a great atmosphere. The choice of cakes is vast and I love that I can have a full English breakfast in the afternoon! Staff go above and beyond and are incredibly friendly and accommodating, however there seems to be just young kids working on a Sunday and the customer experience is very different to what I’ve become accustomed to on weekday visits.

Food is very well cooked, to order. There are details of the local suppliers on the table. Service is friendly and the food delicious. As long as you are not in so much of a hurry you can't wait then this is an ideal place to stop and have a bite and a drink. There is no extra charge for plant based milk substitutes which makes a nice change.

The best cafe I have ever been too the people are friendly all way up for a chat. The food and drink are good and tasty. I do like the reusable coffee cup they have. The cup are only £1 and u get two stamps on your loyalty card every time you use it absolutely amazing. It is very good material very sturdy and strong.

I can not wait to go back there for there homemade cakes.

Had a lovely brunch of Eggs Royal and a biscoff milkshake for pudding here and was very impressed by food quality and variety! Excellent food, lovely staff, owners exceptionally welcoming and make a point of remembering you and previous conversations had!
Charmed, heart-warmed and well fed.

Edit:
Forgot to mention the homemade cakes and brownie are delicious!

Best rolls, cakes and paninni around on the take-away service, can't wait for the Hollow to be fully open again. All the family love it..
Always cheerful to customers and great service too.
For me the coffee is a main attraction and is always hot and tasty
Definitely 5*
