Very slow service ,not much to chose from the cakes are full of flys even outside you will be attacked by swarm of wasps!

Lovely cafe with indoor & outdoor seating in a picturesque courtyard setting amongst the former stables. The food and drinks are excellent quality, although a little expensive, and available seating can be hard to find at busier times, especially around lunchtimes. Queues are long and slow to clear some lunchtimes such as bank holidays & sunny days, but otherwise a wonderful cafe overall. Recommended, but understand need to be a member or pay an entry fee access!

As with most National Trust cafe's this is on par,it has a reasonable selection of hot and cold food and drinks,it was very busy on our visit so had to queue for a little longer than expected...The staff were all lovely...There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating....👍

Went a few years ago & really enjoyed, but now you either need membership or to pay £6 per person to go in the cafe! Front of house were rather rude when explaining this. Doesn't really encourage you to go in! Obviously did not pay & left disappointed.
