Nice friendly cafe with great obliging staff team. Very clean area with clean facilities. Ample seating, ample varied good quality cafe menu. Good coffee and tea selection. Easy access around the tables and a small four person lift available next to the stairs. Can get busy at times as is popular

The restaurant is within Sainsbury's and located upstairs. It is accessible via steps or a lift. The store toilets are at the bottom of the stairs with a further disability toilet upstairs in the restaurant. The restaurant is large offering a variety of seating including comfy sofas if you just want a coffee whilst reading the paper. The edges of the restaurant allow you to overlook the car park or overlook the inside of the store if you want to do some people watching. The menu is large and varied, catering for all. There are separate menus for breakfast or lunch. You can have a hearty meal or light. All calories are shown. Plenty of choice of hot and cold drinks as well plus cakes and puddings. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Counter service is extremely slow. A queue of twelve customers can take ten to fifteen minutes to be served. Cooked food from the kitchen is sufficient and served at the table in good time.

I have been here a few times but every time I've been recently it's getting worse for service.. you have to wait on average 40 minutes to be served.. on my visit today not only a long wait but when sat down with my tea while waiting for food found both cup n saucer n teapot all chipped! Didn't go back as queue was long.. so they need to get their act together as on other occasions many left wsitwai to ordrt

Lovely food, first class for the price. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free newspapers to read. Nowhere better for an unpretentious filling meal

A simple sausage sandwich for breakfast. Good prices and good food. A better alternative than the £10 breakfast at Beefeater where I would have overeaten or wasted food.
