Mill Cafe

Lots of lovely cakes but the sandwiches were a bit boring. Not cheap definitely a special treat.

Visited often. Great location and settings.

This was a really nice National Trust cafe, it was large with lots of seating inside. There was lots of choice of cakes including vegan options. Service was quick and efficient.

An expensive (£5) and somewhat basic National Trust pasty. 😢
Surely a bit of salad wouldn't have broken the bank?

Clean, tidy, order taken at counter very quickly but, considering the number of staff, service for just 2 white coffees was extremely slow.

Very noisy, and quite crowded at the time of our visit. Even so there were enough staff to ensure that the service was efficient and not too long.

Part of fountains Abbey visitor centre. Fully accessible, log fire, good range of hot and cold food queues at busy times but quick service, kid and dog friendly

Weak tea and weaker coffee, awful cafe which has gone down hill. I've been visiting for years and our last 2 visits we have had to go back to the counter as our cups were dirty and the drinks are always incredibly weak. Shame that I think I won't be visiting anytime soon as I have many memories here.
