Their FB page is deceiving. Showing wonderful photos of food... Went there hoping for a great breakfast and the only choice was scrambled eggs on toast... I opted for CRISPY bacon.. I received half cooked bacon, and our toast was more like warm soggy bread. The only thing I enjoyed was my coffee. My wife didn't finish her tea as the crockery was dirty and stained.

Pretty location not easy to locate using Google maps - added 10 minutes to journey time. Lovely place for a visit if you are local. Not enough to there to warrant an hour's drive or the entry fee of £11 ( for 2). Poor value compared to a visit to local national trust sites

Ok, to be fair, our pre-booked, pre-ordered dinner cost £15 per head, not that great a price. Also (I'm adding) that this was for charity. That said, we eat out pretty much every day, maybe even twice, so the price wasn't exactly our main concern, as most places would cost a bit more. This was, without doubt, the worst food I remember having (our crowd was unanimous on this). Think TV documentary nursing home, homeless shelter, and you're getting there; this was food cooked entirely without love. For a start, the main gates were locked and there were no directing signs - we struggled to find our way in, and it was dark. On arrival to the restaurant, we were served mulled wine in mugs, quite quaint and friendly, perfectly ok. Then to dinner, the choice (made weeks ago) was chicken pie (it looked like a chicken stew - there was no pastry, and I was told it was very dry) or aubergine with cheese (factually correct, also dry). Carrots, kale and drive were also provided, pretty flavourless. This was followed by fruit crumble (more like a dust on fruit) or ice cream. My friend asked what flavour the ice cream was and was told "Dunno". The servers (volunteering) were really miserable. It felt awkward to leave full plates and I was grateful to be sitting next to Jim, who could polish off everything - it took me back to school, fighting to sit next to Jacqueline Hughes on liver days. There were only two large tables, ours and another group, this was quite unexpected, somehow. Inside the restaurant it was cold, I never removed my coat. Over the course of the meal, several of our party (men) went to the loo, later on announcing that they'd just used the great outdoors as the toilet couldn't be found in the dark. Women didn't go, and were keen to go on to a more normal location.
However, what I can say is that we had a lovely evenin, meeting up for a friend's birthday, and who knows, maybe this was just the perfect catalyst.

Not much choice on menu and quite pricy. Coffee Farm is a total rip-off as there are hardly any animals and our children were so disappointed as we're we. 2 horses, a few goats and 2 pigs in a pen. A few chickens and ducks. A total waste of money.

Poor service. Over priced. 2 slices of white bread with no butter and bit of grated cheese inside for £3.50 was ridiculous.
Had to go and ask when it would come even though it wasn't busy at all. Kitchen was untidy and disorganised. Poor.

Lovely gluten free cake and coffee, friendly staff and handy for watching my little one on the play equipment outside. A regular haunt of mine.

Good coffee. GF options but not extensive. Reasonable price. Service needs snartening. My GF order was given to someone else but I managed to retrieve it. Suggest a number on a stick instead of a playing card!!

Wonderful coffee and food in a beautiful setting. Ignore all the reviews from more than a year ago as the staff and menu have changed.
